For Beginners at the Walk and Trot level

At our 'Golden Gaits' annual Summer  Bash riding camp our kids that ride with us will participate in multiple games and eventful activities while gaining an education on conformation, anatomy,  hoof care, leg wrapping and  Hunter/Jumper training on equitation and basic jumping fundementals.

Kristine Schick will carefully be coaching them on a positive riding position on the flat and through basic jump courses which will include ground pole courses. Also steps that lead them to having a competitive advantage in the show ring.

Patricia Schubeck a local professional Artist will be spending quality time with the campers creating their beautiful daily Art projects.

Darby D. Holden Certified Farrier & Blacksmith will be teaching our daily Horsemanship Class. Check out her web site www.darbyholden.com

In addition to this week of fun we welcome you and your horse to also join us in an over-night camp out Wednesday August 17 th. After a day at our Santa Cruz Boardwalk we invite all participants,campers families, friends and current clients to a BBQ with Golden Gaits Equestrian Center starting at 6:00 pm followed by a concert and night time
scavenger hunt.

12:20 - 1 pm Drive to Santa Cruz County Boardwalk

1 - 4:30 pm Play at Boardwalk

4:30 Leave 

5:00 BBQ and over-nighter

7 pm Concert
